Today
the name Alliance Française is regarded as
a testimony to the highest quality in the field of
teaching French as a foreign language.
The teaching work of the Alliance is intricately interwoven
with its active participation in the world of culture.
With the name of Alliance Française behind
them, the committees of each branch have an ideal
framework for success. The cultural policy of the
Alliance takes on various forms depending upon the
community in which it finds itself : lectures,
exhibitions artistic creations or live entertainment,
tapping into local talent as well as visiting French artistes.
In this way, the branches of the Alliance establish
their identity by creating a fine fabric in which
French language and French culture combine with the interests
of their public.

Whether
you're an absolute beginner or have studied French
before, whether you require personal tuition or enjoy
the company of others in a small group, we can help
you communicate in French in a relatively short time.
Our
experienced tutors, all French nationals, are qualified
to teach French as a foreign langage. The fact that
they are French themselves gives their teaching an
authentic gallic flavour that our students really
appreciate. Over the past 25 years, we have helped
hundreds of people from Cambridge and the surrounding
areas to experience the joy of discovering and sharing
another culture. If you progress faster than others,
you can move to a more advanced level during the academic
year, thus accelerating the learning process.
Our
team is dedicated to your success and numerous tributes
of recognition endorse the excellence of our approach.
