Cambridge
Food and Drink Festival
|
The
Alliance Française brought to Cambridge
a local version of the traditional French celebration
"la semaine du
goût" . A group of food enthusiasts has since formed an association meeting regularly at Norfolk Street: The Friends of the Cambridge Food and Drink Festival.
The group organises a series of events related to the appreciation of
good food, better food, local food throughout the year leading to a a
week long festival. Next one is to take place in the autumn of 2008.
Events took place this June : visit of orchards, beer and wine
tastings, dinner-parties, talks and there are many more to come.
Keep an eye on the website.
