Local
Businesses making use of language training
"During
the last few years the Alliance Française de Cambridge has
helped hundreds of individuals, professionnal and otherwise;
journalists, doctors, lecturers, lawyers, engineers, scientists,
anthropologists, historians, philosophers, accountants, technologists
among others.
The
organisation has enabled them to present papers and lectures, write
articles, formulate advertising jingles, copy and brochures, translate
packaging and labelling, demonstrate products, train sales forces and
secure contracts for companies.
It
has also helped the RSPB to set up projects for birds protection in
North Africa and elsewhere and have provided language training for
sales managers to operate, for example, in Algeria.
The
Alliance française de Cambridge has also provided over 50 local
companies with business-related training and services."

General
public quotes
Why I would recommend the Alliance Française :
"Friendly
staff, pleasant and relaxed atmosphere ; teaching
efficient and appropriate. It delivers what it promises."
"I like the mixture of informal, friendly atmosphere
and also the formal aspects of learning grammar. The
teaching is very, very encouraging. Everyone is made
to feel that they can learn (as a teacher, I know that
this is not as easy as it might seem !)"
"It
works"
"Because
it gives a very positive experience of France. Very
educational and supportive environment, a very generous
spirit. Thank you all !"
"It's a friendly place to improve and maintain one's standard
of spoken French"
"Professional"
"I think it is a
good school, the classes are not the usual language
classes, but more fun and comprehensive. The tutors
are very nice and all in all, the atmosphere is excellent,
which makes me participate with pleasure"
"Because of the class size (ie. small) and excellent
teaching! Everyone of whatever stage of the year they
join is made to feel very welcome and full participation
in the class is encouraged."
"The
feeling of French immersion"
"I think this is the best way to learn French outside
France"
